Start your day with a cup of coffee and end it with a coffee foot bath. No really…

Coffee grounds are an excellent exfoliant for your skin. Some of the solid reasons are coffee doesn’t dissolve in water so it will stand up to the amount of time you want to exfoliate and lets face it when it comes to our feet, longer is better. Next, 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies. Wouldn’t it be great to get a coffee high just by soaking your feet? The stimulating effects of caffeine may help to increase blood flow and circulation to the skin and coffee is anti-inflammatory.

To use coffee in a foot bath, brew several cups of coffee and let cool. Add the used coffee grounds and the brewed coffee to the tub or bucket, you can add some warmer water if you like. Rub your feet on the coffee grounds while you relax and perhaps Netflix and chill. This is a great opportunity to watch the last season of Shameless while making sure your feet look anything but shameful.

A coffee foot bath is a great simple, all natural, cost effective way to exfoliate the dead skin and soften our feet. If you want to wake your feet up further add 5-15 drops of peppermint oil to the foot bath and let them enjoy their special time. Try this and let us know how it feels and if you will be doing it again. I gotta go now. My coffee is ready. I think I will drnk a cup while I experience my coffee foot bath. Love your body!
